PDPM HealthCheck

The PDPM HealthCheck report will provide a comprehensive view of expected outcomes with cross-facility comparisons under the new Patient Driven Payment Model (PDPM) effective October 1, 2019.  The analysis will consist of a direct comparison of today’s RUG-IV reimbursement methodology to the PDPM model, highlighting the overall impact relative to reimbursement and profitability, and revealing any potential opportunities to improve MDS documentation. Additionally, the HealthCheck provides a profile of residents’ classifications about RUG categories and how those categories “migrate” to the PDPM component assignments. This enables the organization to gain insight into whether their residents will be assigned to higher or lower CMI PDPM case mix groups.
